MEET Laura Cooper (FOUNDER) & Akilah Lowery (CO-FOUNDER.) They are the perfect mix of FUN and FIERCE, Blended with SASSY and SMART. 🙂

LAURA, an Ohio Native who started writing Movies at the tender age of 12. Got her Grassroots upbringing from a Group of Strong Women who encouraged her to develop into a PROMINENT Business minded POWERHOUSE utilizing her knowledge of FILM PRODUCTION and Unique writing skills to hone down her craft.

 Laura is a affluent  was as Business women, beginning her journey of entrepreneurship at the ripe age of 17. She  started her career in entertainment by managing Jay Rush Jennings ( Brother of Lyfe Jennings), she has worked with some of the most legendary artist and producers in the game. Such as  Rap Legends Bone Thugs and Harmony, Blackstreet, and Multi Platinum Award Winning Producer, Teddy Riley to name a few. Her husband is producer and engineer Mahzerati Mahz.  In 2017 she catapulted her career to new heights by setting her sights on following her dreams of taking on the Film and Television Industry.  She partnered with Director Mark Buddington A.K.A. Money Mark. She  has co-written and produced  “Suffocated” starring Sexxy LeXXY of Love and Hip HOP.  She is also producing  TV series “Scheming” Written & Directed by MARK Buddington A*K*A Money Mark & Executive Producer RAY J Norwood. 

Akilah Lowery A*K*A Kilamity Jayne the other tightly bound wing of the BUTTAFLY EFFEKT Phenomenon is a FUNKY, (Truly FUNNY) and SUPERFLY Writer of SONG and FILM.

As Partner & LEAD Creative Director she uses her DISTINCT visualization and HARD Life Experiences to CAPTURE something truly special for the Big Screen.

Akilah has not Only worked with some of the BEST music PRODUCERS and Artists In the GAME Like DJ CUTmaster SWIFF of OUTKAST, KHUJO Goodie, Killer MIKE, YING YANG Twins but Also CO- wrote SUFFOCATED” and 4 Episodes of “SCHEMING” as well.
